Writing Consultations / Schreibsprechstunde - online

The Berlin University Alliance (BUA) is an alliance of Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Technische Universität Berlin and Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin. Together, they are pursuing the goal of creating and shaping an integrated research space in Berlin. This alliance aims to establish Berlin as a leading international science location. All workshops and events offered by the Graduate Studies Support Program are funded by the BUA and therefore free of charge.  

This event will take place on the Lounjee platform.

 

Participation

Doctoral researchers (all disciplines) of the Berlin University Alliance are welcome to book an individual coaching session.

 

Content:

You can book an individual coaching session of 45 minutes to talk about your writing project. This may mean taking a close look at your text together, e.g. at its structure, wording, or style. It could also mean talking about topics surrounding your writing project, e.g. publication procedures, expectation, pressure, grades, supervisors, goals, writer’s block etc. Both the texts and the consultation itself could be in English or in German.

You can send me a 5 page sample of your text to read before the consultation. Please make sure to send it 7 days before the consultation, so that I have enough time to read it. Also, please make sure to include the PDF (register for the session to see the attachment) form in which you can specify what you want me to be on the lookout for.
