Content

When the writing does not flow – which it probably will at some point during a PhD – the terms »writer’s block« and »procrastination« quickly enter into the minds of many academics. However, it’s not obvious what these terms convey beyond the feeling that the writing does not go as one had hoped or expected. In this workshop, therefore, you will have the chance to analyze your writing process in detail: You will identify the things that do work for you, describe very carefully the challenges that you do face, and develop individual solutions for the writer’s block and/or the procrastination that keeps you from writing.

Further Information

If there are free spots, we also allow postdocs to participate.

For workshops held online, participation is allowed under the following conditions: a working camera that is turned on and a microphone to allow active participation in discussions and group work. Headphones must also be used to protect other participants from office eavesdroppers. In this context, we would also like to refer to the rules for digital courses at Freie Universität Berlin (Code of Conduct).
